Prior to joining HNTB, I served for 17 years at Utah Transit Authority as the Manager of light rail and bus facilities engineering and construction. Light Rail projects included the New Starts federally funded 10.7 mile Mid-Jordan and 3.9 mile Draper light rail extensions, the Airport station and track relocation project, double tracking of the Sugar House Street car line, and state of good repair projects including the replacement of 26 at-grade crossings, upgrade of 14 light rail stations, and replacement of the half grand union in downtown Salt Lake. Bus facility included the new 150 bus Depot District Clean Fuels Technology Center and expansions and upgrades to other bus maintenance facilities. HNTB is a nationally recognized transit and transportation firm and I look forward to extending my expertise and experience in the rail and transit engineering field to serve clients in the US Northwest Region, including Seattle, Utah and Denver.
