I am Dylan Liong, a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia. I am an Associate Financial Advisor at CIBC, after graduating from the FACDP graduate program. Current CFA Level 1 candidate. I earned a BSc in Mathematics & Economics from the Faculty of Science and the Vancouver School of Economics at UBC. Throughout my university journey, I was heavily involved in various organizations, secured a research position, completed two internships, took on numerous projects and gained many transferrable skills. I am dedicated to becoming a complete financial professional. I am an ambitious self-starter, passionate about Finance, Economics and Capital Markets. I aspire to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and to obtain other designations. I have already completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to explore a career in Financial Advisory. I am keen on honing my expertise in one of the following financial domains: wealth management, capital markets, or corporate finance. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a fondness for self-improvement books, cooking, sports, fitness, Fantasy Premier League, gaming, and more.
