About Dylan Marsh
My name is Dylan Marsh, and I am a graduate of Slippery Rock University, where I earned my Master of Physician Assistant Studies in May 2025. My journey into medicine began long before PA school. As a childhood survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), I experienced firsthand the impact that compassionate and knowledgeable providers can make. That experience not only inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare but also instilled in me a lifelong dedication to learning, empathy, and patient advocacy.I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University – University Park in 2021, where I developed a strong foundation in the behavioral and biological aspects of health and disease.After graduating, I worked as a Patient Care Technician Specialist at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where I provided hands-on care to pediatric patients on a unit specializing in hematology, oncology, endocrinology and behavioral health. This hands-on role gave me invaluable experience in acute care and deepened my desire to pursue a career where I could make a greater clinical impact.During PA school, I completed rotations in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Hematology/Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Women\'s Health, and General Surgery. I had the opportunity to train in high-volume academic and community settings including Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, AHN Forbes, and UPMC Hamot, gaining exposure to a wide range of patient populations and clinical challenges.Each experience reinforced my commitment to evidence-based medicine and holistic care. I take pride in being adaptable, detail-oriented, and approachable. These are traits that allow me to build strong relationships with patients and effectively collaborate with the entire care team.I am now seeking to begin my career as a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Physician Assistant, with a strong interest in family practice, sports medicine/orthopedics, pediatrics, and hematology/oncology. My mission is simple: to help patients feel seen, heard, and well cared for. no matter the setting.Let’s connect!
