About Dylan Erickson
I am a devoted student affairs professional with a decade of higher education work experience as an undergraduate and as a graduate student combined, ranging from career advising to student life. My main objective is to assist college students and community members with discovering their skills and abilities. In this discovery comes the education of different industries, jobs, and internships that may be in need of their skills and abilities. I am also dedicated to increasing awareness and promotion of diversity and inclusion within higher education, referencing my advocacy work with the LGBTQ+ community and at-risk students. I hold extensive work experience involving helping others through active listening, problem-solving and working with diverse populations of students. Through these experiences, I am an expert in public speaking, meeting facilitation, and classroom lectures. Through many administrative roles held in advising and registration, I retained proficient knowledge of administrative software in post-secondary education such as PeopleSoft, DARS, and Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software. My hope is to support students to the best of my ability as they journey through their career search.
