AWAC had been struggling to modernize its technology stack, so they contracted me to assess their application architecture and develop a build strategy.After I presented my plan, they hired me full-time to execute it, including constructing a new reinsurance platform from the ground up in order to shorten the development cycle and liberate AWAC from a costly technology partnership with a competitor.I implemented Agile methods and design-thinking principles, working with a consulting group to facilitate the company’s widescale transformation.I personally helmed our data engineering team tasked with the implementation of our data warehouse, ELT processes, and BI reporting, including data feeds into the corporate General Ledger.
