   Built in the Bun runtime environment for its built-in testing, keeping the product lightweight by eliminating the need for external testing frameworks, and to utilize its highly optimized start-up times and testing speeds powered by its JavaScriptCore engine and the Zig language.> Created the product as a dense and comprehensive middleware package using GraphQL as a vehicle to introduce native API management to Bun, leveraging GraphQL’s ability to avoid under- and over-fetching via mirroring queries and responses.> Cached responses onto the clients RAM using Redis, specifically Alibaba’s client ioredis, to achieve faster response times and be considerate of the wide data types that users of BuQL may potentially use through its agnostic approach to data structures.> Utilized Vite as the bundler, taking advantage of its competitive hot module reloading and build times to maintain performance as a priority in the npm package; additionally, Vite’s use of Rollup brings with it a more aggressive tree-shaking algorithm, allowing for better asset optimization.> Stored data in MongoDB with Mongoose as the ORM for the front end, allowing for schema flexibility and potential horizontal scaling for more advanced demonstrations; the NoSQL database made for a simple DX, which was the priority considering its use as a simple demo.
