My journey into the world of data began in 2011, when I first encountered Tableau. Coming from a background of building visualizations in Excel, I was instantly captivated by the sheer beauty and power. That \"aha!\" moment ignited a fascination that has defined my career: transforming complex data into accessible, intuitive, and self-sustaining solutions. For me, a true \"mission success\" is seeing a data product grow organically and become indispensable.But it\'s a path I nearly didn\'t take. After graduating with degrees in Philosophy and Economics, I found myself weighing two very different job offers: a boutique consulting firm or clearing trails for national parks. My heart was initially set on the latter, and I even bought my hiking boots. But a subtle, heartfelt call from my grandmother gently steered me towards consulting, and I\'m incredibly grateful for her quiet wisdom.With over 14 years in the field, I\'ve had the privilege of leading dynamic data teams, architecting robust platforms, and spearheading initiatives that bring clarity to chaos. Whether it\'s engineering bespoke data applications to solve critical challenges (like reducing Tableau costs), leading comprehensive product rollouts that streamline workflows, or optimizing data infra to deliver substantial savings, my drive is always to create measurable value.My experience has taught me that the biggest obstacles are often opportunities in disguise, a lesson solidified by a professor, Dr. Rupp, who pushed me to seek greater academic challenges, ultimately shaping me into someone who perseveres through adversity. I also deeply value candor and direct communication; you\'ll find I often rephrase \"curated\" statements to ensure we\'re getting to the heart of the matter and achieving true clarity.Beyond the metrics, I\'m deeply committed to nurturing growth – both in data and in nature. I\'m actively involved in advocating for native plant gardening. Did you know that the Great Plains of America are more endangered than the Amazon? I didn’t either! I’ve become a champion for increased biodiversity in our communities, believing it\'s not just about unparalleled beauty but also a necessity for our society.
