About Dylan Smaltz
I’m a driven and ambitious sports media professional currently in my final semester at Nichols College, where I’m earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. At 98.5 The Sports Hub, I serve as an intern for the Zolak and Bertrand show, one of Boston’s top sports radio programs. In this role, I contribute to daily production by screening live calls, editing and uploading podcast episodes, writing engaging show descriptions, and working closely with producers to develop content. This experience has solidified my passion for radio and strengthened my skills in communication, audio editing, and audience engagement. In addition, I work as a sports broadcaster for Nichols College, providing live play-by-play and color commentary for a variety of athletic events. These experiences have helped me develop a strong on-air presence, quick thinking, and the ability to connect with audiences. I’m actively seeking full-time opportunities in radio or sports-related sales where I can combine my love for sports with my skills in communication, media production, and relationship-building.
