Responsible for managing a vast portfolio of 33kV and 11kV Distributed Generation Projects with SPD Major Connections - Design. I am directly involved with projects from acceptance of the offer through to planning, development, detailed design and procurement processes through to delivery. Responsibilities include:• Driving a portfolio of over 230 projects totalling over 8.4GW of distributed generation worth over £500m.• Managing a wide array of stakeholders including developers, ICPs, Land and Planning, SPT, NESO and external contractors.•Matrix managing other delivery focused operational and technical resources tasked with specific customer delivery.•Leading interface between SPD, NESO and customers. Guiding customers through Statement of Works or BEGA/BELLA Applications.• Engaging with contractors and the procurement of long lead items.• Financial elements of the project including Distribution Milestone Payments, Reinforcement costs, NESO Securities and NESO Milestone Payments.• Ensuring customers meet key milestones as part of Schedule 6 of their Connection Offer.• Pre-application calls with customers alongside Design Engineers.
