ABOUT DYLAN LLOYD

I am a capable, motivated & adaptable Engineer, with sixteen years engineering experience in the RN submarine fleet. Throughout my naval career I have successfully gained promotion through the Artificer training programme achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. My responsibilities have varied from a technical aspect to developing my interpersonal skills and believe I have learned over my service career to be a firm but fair manager with high professional standards. More recently I have transitioned into an engineering company providing programme support in the delivery of complex submarine communications projects. As a mature and level-headed individual, I believe I have the ability to communicate at all levels and thrive on any form of challenge. I adopt a proactive work ethic, endeavour to use my initiative to maximum effect and consider myself to be a team player. Key Skills and Achievements. • Successfully completed a Foundation Degree in Marine Engineering. • Trained Royal Navy Artificer Apprenticeship specialising in Electrical Engineering • A Comprehensive IT user Microsoft Office, Enterprise and various software applications • Strong leadership and management skills in a rapidly changing environment. • Experienced in fault diagnosis, routine maintenance and defect rectification on M/L systems • Qualified as a risk assessor and experienced with safety management systems.
