ABOUT DYLAN JOHNSTON
I’m an Event Management student at Ulster University Coleraine, passionate about creating memorable experiences and learning all aspects of planning, hospitality and live events. Alongside my studies I’ve gained hands on experience with the hospitality sector, working as a Night Porter as well in bar and waiting roles. I also worked at the Open Championship in Portrush in 2025, supporting a world wide sporting event and gaining valuable insight into large scale operations.I’m hardworking, adaptable and enjoy balancing study, work and my personal growth outside of University, I’m into fitness, football, golf and investing which have taught me discipline, teamwork and consistency.I’m looking to connect with professionals in the event, sports and hospitality industry, gain more practical experience and grow as both as a student and future Event Manager.
