My last foreign assignment was base in Jamaica as an expat - served as Delta Air Line\'s Station Manager MBJ/KIN. Oversaw Delta’s below/above wing operations, Admin, Customer Service and most importantly the safety and security of the flights. During the peak summer and winter months we operated nine flights a day from five US cities including ATL, JFK, DTW, MSP, MEM. Under my leadership both MBJ and KIN met and surpassed all co-operate goals including - Safety, Ontime, Finance, Customer Service etc. As a matter of fact we received the Jamaica Hotel and Tourism Association\'s award for Best International Airline 20••••11. Before Jamaica my responsibilities included but not limited to ensuring operational excellence, safety, security and compliance and leading a team of business partners (with another 6k employees) in St.Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Guyana, Haiti, St.Kitts. I spend 75% of my day in the field with my team, giving them support and encouragement rewarding top performers and grooming them to become the next station leader.
