About Dylan Bencze

I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, and would often tell people that I wanted to do something \"sciencey\". I loved the variety that STEM had to offer and knew that wherever I ended up, I needed to put my mind to work solving technical problems. Working in a laboratory as my first out-of-college job has given me the independence to grow into the polymer-science field, and find something I really love doing. I first started at ACE Laboratories in the fall of 2018 following my graduation with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Robert Morris. Excited by the things I was learning as a Laboratory Technologist at work, I promptly decided to pursue a M.S. in Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron. I now work as a Quality Engineer at ACE, aiding in the growth of our overall testing capabilities. Having the privilege to work on a great team, with a wide-variety of test equipment, allows me to boost my technical skills and pursue personal growth every day.
