Serve as SME for the agency for all state funds - NCCI, SCIF, Pinnacol, DIP, KEMI, MEMIC, Chesapeake, WCRIBMA, CAOM, MWCIA, Travelers Assigned Risk, NJCRIB, NYSIF, NCRB, Texas Mutual, and WCRB- Evaluate information provided by Sales Team to generate state fund quote proposals - Partner with Issuance Specialist to process new sales, to include quality control of policy apps for accuracy and assessing required documentation- Collaborate with Sales Pod Leaders to brainstorm and implement underwriting best practices for sale accuracy and customer experience- Produce and maintain alt markets process documentation, carrier contact lists, and all other associated resources- Inform Key Stakeholders on state rules and regulations when applicable & update shared resources- Assist leadership team and trainers with cross-training of Alt Markets and state rules & regulations both during Onboarding and Continuing Education - Maintain accurate reporting of quotes requested/policies sold- Facilitate tech updates/process improvements in collaboration with Information Systems team- Alleviate escalations for matters related to assigned risk policies for team members agency-wide- Consult on partnership meetings with carriers and maintain high-level understanding of commission structures and book of business health - Deep knowledge of classification taxonomy through NCCI, WCIRB, and all other states- Deep knowledge of workers compensation basis of premium and liability laws across multiple state jurisdictions- Advanced knowledge of all processes associated with assigned risk coverage (i.e, applications, policy issuance, setup, billing, servicing, retention/renewals, and audits)
