About Dylan Avila
From taking the call to serve my nation to working at the epicenter of Texas politics I have valued my ability to serve others. Throughout my childhood I would constantly watch the news, and it never failed to deliver a message of despair and destruction for what is going on in this world. Despite this, I always found myself focusing on those who chose to help in any capacity to alleviate another person\'s suffering, and with the talents gifted to me I didn\'t see how I had the right to do any less than them. Everyday I strive to set an example worth following and stand for what\'s right because there\'s no guarantee that someone else will. Although I have a lot of paths to take in my career the one thing I desire to be is someone people can depend on, especially in a world where compassion isn\'t a guarantee.
