I’ve helped challenger banks enter new markets and supported major banks through complex transformations. I was part of the original Canada and U.S. startup team at ING DIRECT and later held senior roles at TD Bank, where I led customer authentication products, 1st Line Risk and Operations for 350+ concurrent digital and payment projects annually while maintaining spotless audits, improving uptime by 50%, and embedding strong first-line risk practices. At Axiom Bank, I scaled a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform from 8 to 13 fintech partners, cut card fraud from 8% to under 2%, and cut onboarding time from 45 to 21 days—all while managing vendor risk and regulatory expectations. With Solomon Edwards Group I’ve helped large financial services clients navigate complex risk management and compliance challenges, and through my consultancy, DWW Group LLC, I’ve advised financial institutions on digital strategy, operational readiness, and customer experience—including a recent engagement with a large West Coast credit union to align CX priorities with core platform capabilities. I’ve built teams from 15 to over 100, partnered across C-suites and regulators, and worked as both an executive and a hands-on operator.
