About Dave Sidwell

David Sidwell serves as the President of the Improving Chicago office. He brings 30 years of experience in the consulting and software industries to his role where his primary focus is the growth and success of the Chicago market. This includes fostering a culture of growth and engagement for Improving’s talented consultants and ensuring the team becomes trusted advisors and delivers positive outcomes to clients.Prior to working with Improving, Dave was a Managing Director at Tahoe Partners where he led the organization’s Microsoft and Technology Practice. He started his career at Andersen Consulting and later co-founded, served as CTO, and eventually sold a technology start-up that focused on digital solutions for large real estate brokers.Dave is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Dave serves his community by volunteering and training with the Aurora Emergency Management Agency, which focuses on minimizing the loss of life, suffering, and damage to property during an emergency, disaster, or crisis.
