Lead Network Engineer of the route-switch enterprise service line responsible for data center network operations, hospital locations and remote site locations in a fast-paced nationwide healthcare environment. • Effectively manage a virtual team, including managing project timelines, deadlines and daily operations. • Lead Engineer fostering a positive team environment to direct, mentor, and help remove barriers where necessary. • Provide Silver Peak SDWAN support for deployments and day-to-day for large multifaceted environment. • Day-to-day support of data center Cisco ACI environment. • Lead Network Engineer of a monthly disaster recovery IT cross-functional testing scenario team. • Implementation Engineer for the consolidation of Cerner EMR BGP vendor networks from two distinct geographic locations into one BGP exit point. • Technical Lead on an EIGRP to OSPF migration project. Worked with senior engineers and CDW consultants to develop a standard OSPF design template. Coordinated with local network analysts and CDW engineers for implementation and migration to remote sites from EIGRP to OSPF. • Planned, designed and implemented the upgrade of unsupported Nexus 5K code to current, supported standard code. Developed a plan that consisted of a 6-code upgrade path to a 2-code upgrade path. • Lead Technical Engineer for Florida Hospital data center consolidation to Advent Health data center locations, including OTV networks and IP address changes. • Lead Technical Engineer for FHO downtown DWDM ring implementation.
