ABOUT DON JOHNSON
My goal is to succeed and excel in everything I put my mind to. I am a fast learner, listener, and leader. I am the type of person that will get things done. If I don\'t know how to do something, I will learn how to do and get it accomplished. I am not afraid of ambiguity or to ask questions. After spending 4 years in-house at EOG Resources as an independent Landman, the company decided to bring me on full time. I am now a Sr. Land Tech working in the DJ Basin. I was a landman with LoneTree Energy for about 6 years. I most recently filled a land tech role in the surface department at EOG Resources. Before that my drive to learn and grow landed me in the regulatory side of things where I did well planning for full field development. My field work includes gathering documents and curative in Laramie and Weld County courthouses and title companies. My greatest accomplishment to date is when I earned my MFA in Fine Art from the University of Idaho. While attending I taught basic design courses, printmaking courses, and drawing courses to undergraduate students at the University of Idaho.
