About Dave Witkowski

With more than 20 years in consulting, I\'ve not only learned how to leverage the dominate paradigm by scaling buzzwords to optimize bottom-line impact and drive ROI but also I am also very good at actually solving difficult problems. I have advised 8 Cabinet-level departments and had a hand in standing up the Air Force\'s Information Warfare NAF and run ROI analysis on $1.2B of Human Resources investment programs at the VA. I\'ve taken my IBM and Deloitte experience to AWS, where I lead our consulting work for federal Law Enforcement and Transportation agencies (DHS, DOJ, DOT, Amtrak, USPS). Here I get to use really cool technology to solve really hard problems, like developing GenAI environments, building tools that free people up to do things that actually requires human intelligence, and migrating hundreds of servers from closing data centers. I’ve been called a strategist, a storyteller, and (once) “the consultant who actually fixed something.” I\'m at my best leading large, complex organizations tasked with solving the unsolvable. Specialties: Cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, leadership, strategy, and using AI to write LinkedIn profiles (although in truth I had to edit out the em dashes).

   AWS Professional Services accelerates customer mission success by helping migrate workloads to AWS and leveraging the power of our cloud. We focus on lowering Total Cost of Operations, increasing the efficiency of data storage and analysis, building efficient code pipelines, and using powerful Artificial Intelligence tools such as GenAI, complex data analytics, and Computer Vision. Dave leads AWS Professional Services teams serving the Federal Homeland, Enforcement, and Transportation agencies including the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security (DHS), Justice (DOJ), and Transportation (DOT/FAA). In this role, he works with senior government technologists and consulting partners to ensure that they can achieve their goals in serving and protecting our nation\'s citizens.
