ABOUT DWAYNE PASCAL

I’m an enthusiastic and passionate technical leader. I motivate multi-disciplinary teams (including graphic designers, engineers, web developers, editors) to create compelling products across web, mobile and tablet that deliver business results. I wear many hats, at any time playing the role of product manager, strategic planner, project manager business owner and, most importantly, the customer. I love bringing a creative approach to product development, challenging the status quo and rethinking problems from a new perspective. I like to generate ideas, often by playing with constraints, removing some and imposing others. Modelling ideas in this way leads people to realize where assumptions have been made and frees them to consider new possibilities. I have a driving need to uncover the subtleties found through deep data analysis. These little insights can highlight big opportunities.I enjoy strategy development - which I define as three key parts: a vision (where you are trying to go), a plan (key focus areas to achieve success) and actions (how specifically are you going to progress). I find lean Agile methodologies provide an efficient and energizing environment and am currently practicing variations of either Scrum or Kanban. I am an insatiable learner, I like to read books and take courses – mostly on new technologies, business strategy, management performance or skill development however, in my spare time, my priority is having fun with my family and coaching or playing ice hockey.
