Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Compass’s partnerships with 5 nonprofit & 1 for-profit multifamily owners with launching & managing the HUD Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) programs at over 70 locations across 16 states & DC for over 950 clients. Lead a team of 12, with 2 Program Managers & 1 Coaching Manager as direct reports, in ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved in effective program management & high quality financial coaching to achieve desired objectives & key results (OKRs). Support the Chief Program Officer (CPO) in cultivating relationships & business development with potential multifamily housing partners to expand FSS. Serve as a lead with exploring new, scalable asset-building pathways & initiating an opt-out pilot of FSS with 2 multifamily owners & 1 public housing authority (PHA). Collaborate with & serve as a thought partner to other directors within the Programs Department & across other departments to coordinate work functions. Provide data & insight into multifamily operations to inform policy advocacy to expand FSS opportunities within the multifamily market. Provide co-oversight of a budget of for the Multifamily team. Manage multiple projects concurrently across teams within the Programs Department and with other departments (in particular the Strategy, Impact & Innovation department) and ensure adequate change practices are applied in the successful completion of the projects. Served as Interim Program Manager for all 6 housing partnerships during the leave of 1 program manager & departure of the other program manager for over 3 months. Serve as Interim Coaching Manager for 3 financial coaches on the Multifamily team to ensure high quality financial coaching is being provided to the FSS participants. Complete additional duties of an FSS Coordinator in enrollment, escrow management, & HUD compliance for partnerships in support of responsibilities of the entire Multifamily team.
