ABOUT DWAYNE CHAHIL

Dwayne is a seasoned CEO and President with over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, property management, and development across diverse asset classes, including apartments, condominiums, multi-family, industrial, mixed-use, and agricultural properties. He has a strong general management background and has successfully founded and managed six business enterprises, both non-profit and for-profit.Dwayne\'s expertise in the real estate industry has led to the exploration of initiatives in private equity and real estate funds with a focus on multi-family, industrial, and student housing in the USA sunbelt regions. He has also been involved in proptech platform-based initiatives that emphasize end-to-end property management with an emphasis on automation, energy efficiency, and sustainability. His most recent project has received the coveted LEED Platinum status and is the largest residential project in Canada with this designation. Furthermore, Dwayne has also held various management positions at TELUS, a leading telecommunications company in Canada. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the successful launch of high-speed internet services, as well as leading customer relationship management initiatives in emerging technologies. Dwayne\'s leadership was also integral in launching the most visited and viewed ISP portal in Canada, which ranked above prominent sites like tsn.ca in various metrics. This portal focused on e-commerce and customer support, further showcasing Dwayne\'s expertise in delivering exceptional customer experiences.Aside from his business ventures, Dwayne is actively involved in philanthropy and serves as the director of two non-profits that help low-income families in Metro Vancouver - Michael\'s Helping Hand (2015) and Children\'s Helping Hand (2004).Dwayne is a graduate of the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and International Business. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with a concentration in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Real Estate. Dwayne has completed the Harvard Business School Real Estate Program, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
