   The Office of Strategic Support and Initiatives (OSSI) supports VBA\'s programs as an independent advisor and advocate for connecting strategy to actions to support better outcomes for our Veterans. OSSI facilitates development, execution, and life cycle maintenance of VBA’s Long-Range Plan and supports LoBs/SOs activities to align and operationalize office-level plans, resulting in cohesive improvements across the enterprise​. OSSI also oversees VBA’s execution of Evidence Act requirements to include the development of VBA’s Learning Agenda, Capacity Assessment, and Evaluation Plan and collaborates with and support LoBs/SOs in the development of project plans and risk mitigation strategies through organizational and program assessments​. OSSI also monitors and analyzes enterprise performance metrics and coordinates associated deliverables as VBA’s liaison to the Department​
