Project Manager, Nerc Compliance @NV Energy

Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead activities of the project teams to ensure that goals, objectives, and all related deliverables are accomplished to achieve successful outcomes for the company within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.• Manage the development process and implementation of new and revised O&P and CIP Reliability Standards.• Provide support to business units on compliance and standards interpretations through communication with the Regional Entities WECC, NERC, NATF, Edison Electric Institute (EEI), Berkshire Hathaway Energy platforms, or other regional utilities.• Provide leadership of assembled matrixed project teams, required for the development and implementation of detailed project plans, and ensure the plans, actions, assignments, team responsibilities, milestone dates, and overall strategies are clearly stated.• Provide responses to NERC Data 1600 requests and NERC Alerts.• Issue progress reports to management and other stakeholders monthly and as needed to keep stakeholders informed of issues on NERC Standards project development and implementation.• Facilitate company efforts in providing commentary and voting on NERC and WECC Reliability Standards in development based upon business unit input.• Review the NV Energy NERC Compliance Plan and Policy documentation annually.• Process data requests and any other requested information for WECC audit purposes.• Assist with performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.• Assist with the internal compliance monitoring of O&P and CIP Reliability Standards.• Active and engaged member of the North American Transmission Forum (NATF) practices groups to include Human Performance Improvement, Supply Chain, Metrics and Analytics practices groups.• Active and engaged member of the Western Interconnection Compliance Forum (WICF) New Standard Implementation, CIP, Internal Controls, and Generation Focus Groups.
