Background: My 2019 transition from an Enterprise Corporate Executive to a COO in the environmental movement was initiated by my daughter, leading international youth climate justice activist Alexandria Villaseñor, who co-founded the U.S. Youth Climate Strike Movement and is the founder and lead student organizer for Earth Uprising International. Now she is 18 years old, and I’m excited to transition the Earth Uprising corporate structure, board management and accounts directly to her as originally agreed, and pursue new opportunities for myself.Facilitated all day-to-day business operations including managing fiscal sponsorship, subsequent corporate 501c3/c4 filings and management, grant writing and donation management, accounts payable and receivable, contact management, scheduling, travel arrangements, and legal services.Provided professional and career skills training on networking, presentations, time-management, problemsolving, resume writing and multi-sector application support to the Youth Directors of the Law & Policy, Media, Education and Scholar groups, and for the international Global Youth Leadership Council (GYLC) which plans and initiates Earth Uprising’s global campaigns.Corporate and Executive Sector: Created, developed and implemented partnerships and collaborations with Fortune 500 companies. Facilitated Earth Uprising’s and a cohort of activist relationships with Salesforce, Ikea, Citibank, Patagonia, Bank of the West, Polygon, GAP, Levi’s and many more.
