My overarching research goal is to understand the complex interplay of social and geographic factors that impact health disparities in chronic diseases. My passion is to use this knowledge to develop feasible and cost-effective interventions to reduce the overlapping race/ethnicity, sex/gender, and urban/rural disparities in chronic disease globally.
