ABOUT DUSTY BRYAN
Hi,My name\'s Dusty Bryan, and I\'m a graduate student majoring in information sciences at the University of Tennessee. I completed my undergraduate studies in the spring of 2020, and I was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in technical communication. I minored in journalism, and I was also very involved with several student media organizations during my undergraduate years and I still host two shows for the campus radio station, WUTK 90.3 FM. When I started graduate school I was a public relations major, but something major happened in my life that caused me to change course. My mom suddenly and unexpectedly passed away during my first year in the program and I took a leave of absence. While I was on leave, I started working in a public library part time and fell in love with librarianship and the positive impact that librarians can have on their communities. My ultimate goal is to work in library leadership. I have leadership and administrative experience, and I\'m a skilled writer and researcher. I\'m currently seeking an entry-level public library leadership position. I\'m also open to technical writing and proofreading projects.
