When you\'ve refined a specific skillset that aligns to your own passions and truly understand your value, it creates gravity. The people that need you seek you out and bring more people to you.Purpose:We get one ride on this planet, so we ought to be doing something we truly love. I\'ve always, been obsessed with technology, but it took me until later in my career to truly appreciate why. Growing up, it was most certainly self-centered and a bit of nerdyness (is that a word?), but most of what I have always enjoyed about tech is it\'s ability to simplify aspects of my life, and add VALUE. Fast-forward into my now over a decade in tech, and these are still the things that wake me up in the morning and excite me for the day - yet from a different perspective. The challenges we get to solve now with technology can do everything from advancing medicine to helping a start-up deploy a new product - this is what I truly love about what I do. Work ethic isn\'t even a thing - it\'s a matter of bettering humanity (cheesy yes, but has proven to be true, so many times).Authenticity:This is the big one for me. I think in order for the first two to even have an ounce of measurable worth, it has to come from a place of genuity (also according to spellcheck might not be a word). We are all people, with emotional attachment to our careers and the objectives we are trying to meet. The last thing we need is someone dishonest. Be you, be direct, and hold yourself accountable to being a source of truth. I\'ll sign this off with a quote from John D.
