About Dustin Kalman
Do you think tax accounting is boring and complicated? Do you think it takes up too much of your time when you just want to work on increasing your business or pursuing new hobbies? Do IRS letters give you panic and anxiety? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you’ve found the right LinkedIn page. As an Enrolled Agent, I am ready to assist you with all of those problems and more. I enjoy working with clients to solve IRS issues, navigating complicated tax reporting, and consulting with them on personal and business tax compliance. In addition to standard tax compliance, I have experience resolving tax controversy issues and working with expatriates, resident aliens, and non-resident aliens on their complicated US tax reporting. It is satisfying to give my clients more time to concentrate on their business or leisure and ease the stress of dealing with the IRS. The stereotype of an accountant, CPA or Enrolled Agent is that we are more comfortable with numbers rather than people. When you work with me, you will find that stereotype is far from reality. I am a graduate of the Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston. Yes, I have a communications degree along with additional course work in accounting, tax and business. I am currently studying and sitting for the CPA exam. When I’m not working with clients or studying for the CPA exam, I enjoy going to Houston Cougars football and basketball games as well as visiting breweries, wineries, distilleries and following the beverage industry. I would consider the beverage industry more than a hobby, it can easily be a passion. I enjoy the creativity, the craft-work and the brand stories found throughout the beverage industry. In addition to the beverage industry, I also have experience with and interest in the real estate, energy, cannabis, consumer goods retail, experiential marketing, and advertising industries.
