I manage the development of Metra\'s Capital Program, which totals nearly $1.9 billion over the next five years. My core focus is to thoughtfully guide the investment strategy for our agency\'s assets to ensure access to affordable, reliable, and efficient public transportation is available across the northeast Illinois region. I analyze project funding needs and prioritize the hundreds of capital projects Metra undertakes. Additionally, I manage the pursuit of Metra\'s discretionary grant applications with a goal of capturing as much additional capital funding as possible.Metra is an essential resource that safely and reliably connects individuals to the thingsthat matter most in their lives — their work, their homes and their families. We provide public transit across a vast six-county area with more than 8.4 million residents.
