Lead team responsible for financial planning and reporting for two of Univar’s largest North American Segments including a product portfolio and key account portfolio with more than $4B in combined revenue • Work closely with commercial leadership teams across disciplines in the development of long-range financial plans to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved. This includes preparation of the annual budget, monthly and quarterly P&L forecasts, and periodic profitability and working capital analysis on complex commercial deals • Lead monthly P&L reviews with commercial and executive leadership, providing analytical packages for customer segmentation, profitability bridges, while tracking key initiatives for pipeline development to drive sales and margin growth. • Hold teams accountable for improving working capital KPIs related to Accounts Receivable and Inventory • Work closely with commercial leadership to develop complex financial models to support capital investments, strategic pricing, and rebates. Design, implement and manage $5-6M in annual sales rebates for several key customers. Advise and develop Capex versus Lease deals to manage new business • Train, develop and provide ongoing support to financial analysts with a focus on financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and management skills. Develop and lead a financial rotation program for Financial Analysts to allow cross team/functional development • Prepare a weekly newsletter on industry, competition, customers, suppliers, and economic trends that is distributed to more than commercial employees and people managers across the company
