The CFO position at Walman drives strategic planning, focusing on increasing transparency of the business to both management and shareholders, building and developing management information systems, building, strengthening and growing finance teams, shareholder communication, managing cost through process improvements and benchmarking, assessing and integrating acquisitions. Trusted partner to the management of the company working both as a supporter and a sounding board able to challenge business plans and investment ideas applying shareholder mentality with the focus on a longer-term value creation. In addition to the CFO position at Walman, for three years I held the Controller position. Prior to Walman, I worked at Target Corporation in the external financial reporting team focusing on external reporting and share-based compensation. I also spent several years in the audit department at Boulay. As an auditor, I had a broad range of audit, review and M&A experience. I worked closely with companies that include SEC filers, not-for-profit, privately held and employee owned (ESOP).
