In the past twelve years I have been involved in 9 new shovel assemblies in the USA, Canada, and Mexico most recent was a 7495 hydra-crowd at The Caterpillar Proving Grounds, 2 dragline relocations as well as numerous major outages all over the country on shovels and draglines. I was Service operations manager at Empire Southwest where we started a new shovel and dragline division in Mesa Arizona. I Was responsible for acquiring all tooling necessary to do required work, assemble a crew, quoting/bidding, setting schedules, organizing and managing work load, time keeping, as well as coordinating jobs, tooling and personnel. Currently with Black Rock Mine Service. Where I do everything I can to drum up work. Anything from liner packages for equipment, reverse engineering and fabrication, rebuilds on dippers, sticks, handles, anything you want rebuilt we can do the job. Undeckings on shovels, undercarriages, etc. we have a 500 ton climbing jack system which is very safe and efficient.
