About Dusti Young
Hi. I\'m Dusti Young. I’m the one writing this bio, so I’m not going to talk about myself in the third person. So who am I? Like all of us, I identify in many ways. I proudly rock the title of daughter, sister, aunt, friend, adventurer, creator, RE investor,\"runner\", tourist, and lover of life. I do my best to approach each day with wonder and awe. I spend my days working for a nonprofit financial wellness organization. In my role, I present and teach financial wellness topics. Essentially we are trying to create a space for people to learn how to navigate financial decisions, build confidence, and bridge the gap between intention and action. Post 5 PM you\'ll find me exploring, testing out a new recipe, reading, listening to a podcast, catching up with friends, and enjoying this beautiful life. After all, we only get one chance to live our dreams. I just wanted to let you know that rattling off a list of my past accomplishments will not impress anyone. But if you’re curious, I have coached over people and guided 1,342 on their path to financial freedom through a debt management plan. I’ve been teaching groups of people since 2006 and in just one year I presented over 180 training sessions to more than 80 financial institutions. In 2020 I moved to Denver and in 2021 I planted roots in Longmont, CO. I love traveling and new experiences. Most people think I’m a little crazy because I run, for fun. I finished the Detroit Marathon with a personal best of 3:28:12. I love learning, listening to Podcasts, and lately I’ve been learning more about real estate. I’ve been learning all about house hacking, real estate forms, listings, and more. My bucket list includes a trip to India to explore the various temples and festivals, spending time in Greece, and living abroad for a while. I want to try the ice cream in all these places to see if it\'s as wonderful as my favorite place here in Denver (Happy Cones). I’m a huge fan of nonfiction books and I\'m always open for recommendations. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
