As MD & CEO of Nucleome Informatics, I am committed to advancing India’s and Asia’s genomics landscape by bridging biodiversity, agriculture, precision medicine, and biotech innovation. I lead multidisciplinary teams driving landmark genome initiatives spanning human, plant, and animal genomics, as well as large-scale population sequencing projects powering precision medicine. Our research pushes boundaries in cancer, probiotics, microbiomes, conservation biology, and agricultural genomics. Through our Hyderabad-based NKC Centre for Genomics Research, we have delivered genome sequencing and genotyping across microbes, plants, animals, and humans for national and global projects.Nucleome is Asia’s only Vertebrate Genome Project-affiliated lab and India’s first to deploy Trio-Binning for maternal-paternal genome assembly. Equipped with PacBio Revio, Sequel II, Illumina NovaSeq, and Thermo Fisher platforms, we deliver cutting-edge genomics, genotyping, and diagnostics at scale. We are also partner of the European lrGS innovation network (ELRIN) exploring the potential of long read genome sequencing in diagnostics. Our clinical vertical, DrSeq, is redefining healthcare genomics in India. We pioneered the nation’s first genetic test for group of rare diseases called Inherited Retinal Disorders (IRD), targeting over patients, and have built diagnostics in oncology and rare diseases tailored to Indian populations. Nucleome is building a \'Non For Profit\' consortium of researchers, technology partners, pharma companies and clinicians to solve Rare Disease cases from India.With a vision for accessible, population-scale genomics, we are building one of Southeast Asia’s most advanced laboratories—driving India’s journey in precision biology, healthcare innovation, and global research partnerships.
