Strategic Inventory Planning & Optimization• Develop and oversee global inventory strategies for empty container positioning and redeployment across ports, ICDs, and key inland locations.• Anticipate demand fluctuations and container shortages; proactively reposition inventory to maintain service continuity and reduce urgent repositioning costs.• Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, and Trade Management teams to align container planning with business forecasts and booking trends.2. Operational Execution & System Oversight• Lead system-level inventory monitoring through regular reporting and analysis, ensuring real-time accuracy in container status, agent updates, and detention tracking.• Drive timely and effective redeployment of long-stay import and idle containers to minimize loss of revenue and improve asset utilization.3. Vendor & Carrier Relationship Management• Engage and negotiate with major shipping lines, feeder operators, and leasing companies to secure competitive rates and space for repositioning containers.• Build strategic relationships with key logistics partners to support flexible and scalable operations.4.
