As a Textile Engineer, I coordinate committee and council activities for the textile sector at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I regularly hold meetings with industry representatives from areas such as yarn, weaving, home textiles, technical textiles, and dyeing, addressing issues ranging from production processes to environmental impacts, developing solutions, and following up on implementation in collaboration with relevant public institutions.I work with the responsibility of developing projects that will increase the export potential of our country, particularly of our city Bursa, and enable the Turkish textile sector to play an active role in international markets.My responsibilities include conducting new market research, monitoring global developments in various sectors, and organizing informative training sessions and seminars to support companies in my area of responsibility. I also engage in initiatives and discussions regarding issues within the texitle sector.In particular, I carry out joint studies with ministries, the governorship, municipalities, provincial directorates, and universities on sector-specific technical issues such as environmental and air pollution, developing projects in line with the sector’s sustainability goals.In addition, through the Textile Council, I bring together industrialists, academics, and public representatives to contribute to the preparation of roadmaps for the future of the sector. I am also involved in university–industry collaboration projects and initiatives that support the entrepreneurship ecosystem, while contributing to activities that foster the development of young entrepreneurs.
