Supported proposal for competitive contract based on work from IRAD• Lead Mechanical Engineer, Airframe Lead, and Missile Mom for the Guided Multipurpose Munition (GMM) Program formerly known as Guided Carl Gustaf Munition (GCGM)Key Results: Developed a guided munition capable of firing from Saab’s shoulder fired Carl-Gustaf M4 recoilless rifle, and AT4 disposable rifle from paper concept to AUR live fire demonstrations in front of customers. The joint activity was part of an internally funded 50-50 partnership between Raytheon & Saab Bofors Dynamics. It was followed on by a 3-year Rapid Innovation Funding (RIF) contract effort awarded by the US ArmyConducted a total of 18 guided live fire demonstrations at different ranges, many ballistic flight tests, controlled flight tests, subsystem, and airframe development tests Responsibilities included: airframe design, rapid prototyping, integration, and test of both subsystems, and the all up round (AUR), Technical Data Package (TDP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Mass Properties (MP) design and verification, teaming with international engineers and ensuring subsystems worked together, creating test plans, assembly procedures, following the hardware to ensure fabrication meets schedule, assembly of flight hardware, energetics assembly, and final check out of flight hardware
