About Michael Mike Dunlap

and originally from the metropolitan Detroit area. I had some formative experiences early on as a Congressional Page and Eagle Scout and spent two summers as a camp counselor. These revealed my value for independence and new experiences. My college experience was diverse, enjoyable, and maturing, but I never found a true calling or passion while I was there. Quickly after graduation, I achieved independence in Chicago but continued to struggle with a lack of clarity and positive relationships. Between my mom and dad\'s passing, understanding my sexuality, coming out with my sexuality, and a lack of career growth, I knew change was needed. It wasn’t until I volunteered with NYC Pride and ultimately changed careers that my life started to get more clarity. I’ve now led dozens of successful conferences and run world-class events that help professionals develop themselves in a powerful way. It’s inspired me to learn new things and even take up skiing a few years ago.
