Founded the \"Engineering Management Program\" at Portland State University with 13 part-time Masters students in 1987. PhD in System Science/Engineering Management was added three years later. The Engineering Management Program became the \"Department of Engineering and Technology Management\" in 1996, and established a second PhD in Technology Management. The Department now has more than 250 students from 46 countries, about 50 of them pursuing their PhDs.
