ABOUT CARLOS M DUNCKER

Carlos, a medical imaging expert, made groundbreaking discoveries in bone marrow metastasis, myocardial granulocyte accumulation, and thyroid nodule diagnosis. He managed the hepatology research site at Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in Dallas for 4 years, joined Perspectum, where he became Director of Medical Affairs, and after 4.5 years, joined Pinnacle Clinical Research with Dr. Stephen Harrison. After 2 years, Carlos is back at Perspectum, as Senior Director of Medical Affairs.After earning his MD and PhD (Cum Laude) in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Carlos did his postdoctoral Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions before moving to Mexico to continue his clinical and research work at top-notch institutions. He’s a founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and was a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine for 25 years. Carlos served as President of the Mexican Thyroid Association for 3 consecutive periods, and was a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine and a senior member of the Mexican Academy of Surgery. He has authored over 180 medical papers and delivered lectures and presentations worldwide.
