In this role I jointly oversee a team of consultants based in the Midlands region. I delivered around £4 million in sales since starting. I set up:• Internal management information systems (revenue, resource management and business development). • Internal quality management systems.• The national coaching panel to oversee coaching quality in consulting. Enabled NECS to become a member of the Association for Coaching.• People Service Line, a commercially focused capability group.Example client projects include:Data for Research and Development programme, NHS England – A £200m national programme for NHS England (NHSE) aiming to make research data more available. I set up then delivered the PMO, strategy and workstream delivery elements through a team of 20 NECS people. The national programme was very successful, is now into it’s third year, with secure data environments across the country.NHS Joined Up Care Derbyshire – I developed a digital and data strategy, a green-book strategic outline business case and developed workforce plans for the 11 teams across health and care organisations in the region. Received well by both the organisation and system stakeholders.NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) – Leadership development, including both group and executive coaching to support both execs and senior managers whilst they delivered 40% cuts to their running cost budget. This was received very well, and I continue to deliver coaching to one of the executives on the programme.Other significant projects include Bristol ICB (OD programme); NHSE culture and leadership team (system development); NHSE Research Volunteer Registry programme (PMO); New NHS England programme (headcount reduction); and two projects with the Chief Digital and Data Officer for NHS England - Digitizing Maternity and Neonatal Services (strategy), Outcome Registry Programme. I also deliver coaching to senior managers across the NHS including a Midlands ICB chief executive.
