ABOUT DUNCAN MCLEAN
I am a Chartered Landscape Architect and \'Recognised Practitioner\' in Urban Design. I provide creative, meaningful and viable people-focused design solutions that contribute to sustainable placemaking, I am comfortable working at a variety of scales from strategic environmental planning studies, through landscape-led masterplanning and development frameworks, to detail design and implementation projects. Since joining LUC in 2001 I have steadily moved up ranks to become Director in 2019. Based in the LUC Glasgow office I lead many of LUC’s prestigious urban design, masterplanning and public realm design projects for a wide range of clients in both the private and public sector. I often lead LUC inputs working collaboratively as part of large multi-disciplinary teams tackling complex, challenging and multifaceted projects.I consider myself to be a talented and experienced designer validated by numerous awards.
