ABOUT DUNCAN GILBREATH

I am a computer science undergraduate student at the University of Utah. I have completed the full CS Westlake curriculum, including Swift Coding, AP Computer Science 1, AP CS 2, AP Computer Science Principles, and Computer Science Independent Study. This gave me the basis for OOP and the passion for programming. At the UofU, I already have a deep knowledge of full-stack developing. I am completely comfortable with analysis and design of common data structures, and implementation of less common DS. I have experience with backend and frontend developing, and as part of CS3500, built a fully operational spreadsheet application, which combined software practices, data structure design, MVC design, and separation of software concerns. I will graduate with a full understanding of OOP, discrete mathematics, software engineering, organization in computers, algorithms and data structures, software systems, and theory. I will also take courses in operating systems, AI, databases, networks, graphics, and computer architecture. Outside of school, I am an avid sports watcher and player. I played basketball at Westlake High School, and continue to play now. I also enjoy playing music(guitar), reading fantasy novels, and throwing the occasional football.
