As an energetic, visionary and professional strategic business leader, I have cultivated an empowered, customer-focused team culture. In my current role, I successfully led the change of the business from an autocratic regime to an inclusive and collaborative team environment with shared goals, effective communication, and strong stakeholder collaboration. My business relationships are built on integrity and ethical behaviour.I have a wealth of experience in building services engineering covering commercial office, residential, student accommodation, hotels, health care, hospitals, laboratories, data centres and rail sectors. I hold full accountability for the business direction, strategy, performance, health and safety, people performance and ultimately the P&L account. Using key data and metrics to monitor performance and make decisions I am responsible for leading and developing knowledgeable, high performing teams, authorised to act within agreed objectives and parameters encompassing safety, financial, commercial, and operational aspects. Through coaching and guidance, I have witnessed both business and personal growth, as well as evolving regional structures.Recognising the importance of our people, leadership, emotional intelligence, empathy and direction are crucial to success, along with ensuring their wellbeing. I firmly believe in treating others as I would like to be treated, regardless of origin, orientation, or societal position. Additionally, I spearheaded the introduction of wellbeing initiatives within the Briggs and Forrester Group and am a trained mental health first aider. I advocate for the conservation of the planet\'s resources and the reduction of consumption and pollution for future generations.With a degree in engineering and a master\'s degree in business administration, I possess the agility and innovation to bridge the gap between business and technical requirements. As the business leader, I engage extensively with all customers, from business development through project completion. My integrity and honesty have resulted in numerous long-term relationships. Throughout my career, I have led or been involved in business acquisitions, disposals, a management buyout, and the transition of company ownership into an employee ownership trust. Change strategy and implementation are among my key strengths, with successful outcomes measured by enhanced business performance.
