ABOUT DUNCAN ANGWIN

Strategist and Mergers and Acquisitions specialist with over 30 years of practical and academic experience. I have worked in practice in corporate finance as an investment banker and have held many professorial positions in leading business schools including being Dean of Nottingham University Business School, a Russell Group University in the UK. I have been awarded an Honorary Professorship at the University of Nottingham and I am now Professor of Strategic Management and Director of Executive Programmes at UCL School of Management where I am also part of the management team. UCL is a Russell Group University ranked as one of the best in the UK and 8th in the world (QS, 2023).I have published 14 books, well over 50 academic and practitioner papers on the subjects and lecture internationally. My recent work concentrates on six main topics, 1) International M&A strategy and post acquisition integration, 2) conceptual development of the M&A field, 3) M&A during economic recession, 4) Strategy design and implementation, 5) strategy communication, 6) the work of strategists such as Strategy DirectorsI lecture internationally on strategy and M&A. I am co-author of the worlds leading strategy textbook,\'Exploring Strategy,\' 13th edition. I have written strategy work books, such as \'The Strategy Builder\'(Wiley) which comes with a strategy app short course executive Strategy texts such as \'The Strategy Pathfinder (3rd ed) 2017); and academic works such as \'Practicing Strategy\' 2nd ed.
