About Lisha du

Since 2011, every organization I have worked with is internationally organized and focused on benevolent global interaction. My years in Zambia and work focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa enabled me to witness different levels and causes of poverty, as well as the collective efforts to address global challenges. This experience confirmed my passion for international development and led to my study in this field and fieldwork in Laos and India. My degree in International Development Studies has deepened my knowledge of global health, humanitarian assistance, and SDGs and research experience in Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus (HDP Nexus), malaria elimination, Ebola outbreak response, IFC Environmental and Social Sustainability Performance Standards, gender issues, policies in low-and middle-income countries, and Belt and Road Initiative. My significant duties in the field include project management, research, scenario planning, knowledge management, partnership development, communication, data analysis. I excel at working through problems and addressing the needs of beneficiaries and stakeholders. I am familiar with program design and management tools: LogFrame, stakeholder analysis, and theory of change, and I have used quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools: Tableau, Excel, Dedoose. My work experience in low-and middle-income countries in a range of capacities enabled me to effectively work in the private sector, with NGOs, and academia making me a stronger candidate for any international firm.My passion and interests extend to child protection, GBV, education, food security, and South-South cooperation. I also hold an M.A. degree in English Language and Literature, specializing in Intercultural Communication Studies.
