ABOUT DULCE HERNANDEZ
I am an undergraduate at Illinois State University double majoring in Political Science and Spanish with minors in Latino/a/x studies. Currently, I serve as a part-time tutor for America Reads/America Counts (ARAC) here at Illinois State.Outside of studies, I actively engage in organizations that build both my technical and leadership skills. I am apart of the executive board of Girls Who Lead (GWL), focusing on college women to connect, lead, and thrive through mentorship, skill-building workshops, networking events, and professional development. I’m a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), focusing on professional growth and empowering underrepresented groups in the work field. Member of Horticulture Club. which focuses on hands-on learning opportunities about one of the many aspects of the Horticulture and the Green Industry.
