As a Peace Corps volunteer, I am living in D\'Kar, a rural village in Western Botswana, populated by the San People. I work with a small group of female artisans to support the formation of a cooperative, and to train and capacitate them on how to run a small business. I also work with Dqae Qare, a San owned lodge, to help it recover from the COVID pandemic and continue to provide support to San community. I am partnered with Travel For Impact, an organization devoted to supporting socio-economic development of rural communities through the development of culture and heritage ecotourism opportunities.
